Our sports camp participants got the fishing bug Tuesday as they received a visit from fishing professional Greg Vinson. Greg took time off from his busy schedule to talk with the group about his full time job of fishing and to demonstrate different types of fishing equipment, bait and techniques.Everyone initially met at the pool and pavilion area where Greg demonstrated casting techniques and how certain lures and bait attract different types of fish. Through his expert casts and knowledge it was easy to see he has a great passion for his sport and willingness to share that passion withothers. Greg grew up on Lake Martin and now fishes out of Wetumpka .\n\nGreg was brought to camp by fellow fisherman Jim Hardy, Jim is a past camp staff member as well as a past board member. Jim also brought with him William Davis of Davis Bait Company in Sylacauga. He makes many of the baits that Greg uses while on the tournament trail.
