This week the Wisconsin Bandits are headed to Columbus, Wisconsin to take part in the first ever Explosion Tournament. The first two days of competition the Bandits had two action packed games in pool play elimination defeating Kennedy 9-3 and one of our favorites the Waukesha Firebirds 2-1. As tournament rounds neared the Bandits were stopped in their tracks by the Huntley Hurricanes who defeated the Bandits 2-1 and sent them to a consolation bracket. After a surprising game in the first round of the tournament the Bandits took on yet another favorite team the Watertown Thunder defeating them 3-0 only to move on to the championship round later that day. As the championship game grew closer the Bandits only had first place gold in their eyes as they defeated the Stateline Stars 7-1 to claim victory and first place gold in the consolation bracket at the first ever Xplosion Tournament. pbandjstudios
